WAKING UP A WOMAN
This set, shot on medium format black and white film, depicts the emotions surrounding becoming a woman. The transition from girl to adult is filled with new experiences. From the altered manner in which we are viewed physically, fears of being alone in the streets, and how we are taught to feel about our sexuality, Waking up a Woman is a glimpse of my personal perception of the transition into womanhood.

EDIBLE SENSATION
This project examines the varied manners in which food may affect us emotionally. Humans consume meals for different purposes - with different effects on the individual. Our eating habits are often fueled by what is occurring in our multi-faceted lives. Our relationship with food is executed in regard to appearance, sexuality, and our thoughts on ourselves and those around us.
